Hector's Taqueria Fresh Mexican Food

Ordered a shrimp, chicken and steak taco. by far, the shrimp was the best tasting and put together the best. The chicken was a little bit dry and the steak was very good. The sauces were very good along with the grilled tortillas tasted great.

This is a nice spot to grab a quick lunch. Food comes out fresh and hot. Very good portions. Menu is easy to read and prices are reasonable. Little short on seating, more of a grab and go spot. Restroom is clean, but around back. Parking on street or in parking lot next door.

First time eating at Hector's, we had breakfast burritos, and they are assume, not a greasy mess like others around camarillo. I will be back to try more items. It all looks delicious

Fantastic smaller spot with reasonable prices and generous portions. Not a lot of space inside but sizeable patio with plenty of outdoor seating. Good for takeaway as well as eating at the restaurant.

Decided to try this place since we were near the outlets. The horchata is worth going alone. We had a super burrito and a carne asada quesadilla. The cheese was very delicious and the burrito was big. You get a lot of food for your $ here.

Great food! I stopped by Hector Mexican Food for lunch and was not disappointed. As soon as I walked up to the counter, I saw a group of laborers digging into their meals, always a good sign that the food is legit. I ordered the giant asada burrito and it loaded meat/beans/rice/avocado, flavorful, and filling. The portion size was hefty. The hot sauce? Super hot spicy, in the best way. It is a small place, nothing fancy, but the food speaks for itself. The only downside was the bathroom. tiny and the door knob tough to open. Honestly, just skip the restroom if you can. If you're hungry and want real Mexican food that hits the spot, this is it. Will definitely be back when passing through town.

Excellent food with great portions and made to order. Very helpful and salsa was terrific. We will definitely be coming back

Great place! Fast, fresh, tasty and affordable. We had the steak and egg breakfast burrito which was delicious and also had the giant asada burrito. Would highly recommend this place. $12.75 for each burrito and came with avocado inside.
